He is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Raymond Group.
Alongside him is his wife, Navaz Modi.
At the moment, it is all over the news that the couple is getting divorced.
It seems like a normal thing to get divorced, but what is interesting about this case is that the wife has asked for 75% of the net worth of Gautam Singhania.
Gautam has a net worth of $1.4 billion.
Based on this calculation, Navaz Modi Singhania has asked for ₹ 8,745 crore from the family in the context of the divorce case.

Today, at 85 years old, Vijaypat lives in a rented house and lives a simple life.
There was a time when he used to be a billionaire but now he lives on a pittance.
Why did yesterday’s business tycoon face such a situation today?
Vijaypat Singhania, the famous business tycoon of yesterday, is now remembered as a tragic figure because he has given all his wealth to his children while he is still alive. Whereas, after your death, your children naturally inherit all your movable and immovable property.
So why this rush?
Love your children but don’t have such blind love that you forget about your own well-being.
